Audit report and benchmarking

This report is an essential first step when developing a strategic plan for a corporate or investor website. It examines the current position of the website and identifies areas for development that will move the site towards online corporate communications and investor relations best practice.

The website is analysed using our proprietary webscoring system, an objective methodology that enables different corporate and investor websites to be directly compared with each other.

The report looks at how the corporate or investor website compares to that of a selected peer group and to those sites that we have identified as closely following best practice guidelines. It assesses the site's performance in the key areas of content, ease of navigation, interactivity and appeal to different stakeholder groups, for example the media and investors, and will make detailed recommendations of how the site can be improved.

The report can be tailored to meet the specific needs of a company. For example, we have produced reports that focused on the online presentation of clients’ corporate brands and reports that looked at, and benchmarked, clients’ corporate social responsibility information. Other reports have covered accessibility, and site structure and site maps for implementation in-house.
